Driving Standards Agency (DSA) recommend 62 lessons (from official DSA publication)

All people are different so the final total lessons can be more or less.

40 lessons on average are with an Approved Driving Instructor, we aim to be less.

22 lessons can be with a family member or friend, watch for the legal small print. Check you are fully legal before you drive with anyone other than your instructor. Once legal you can practice what you have been learning to help you become a safe, confident and realiable driver for life.
